Toyota Corporate Go Kart Challenge

Unleash the racer in you

Ladies and gentlemen! Close those spreadsheets and start your engines. Toyota is giving you the chance to get out from behind your desks and get behind the wheel with the Toyota Corporate Go-Kart Challenge. The event will include corporates across NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore. Test your skills against other corporate racers from your city while your family and friends cheer you on. Three talented racers will even win the chance to race an Etios Motor Racing car at the Buddh International Circuit, Noida.

Toyota Corporate Go kart Challenge Delhi

The 2nd phase of the Toyota Corporate Go Kart Challenge commenced in Delhi NCR in August, 2015. The campaign had employees from targeted select corporates and were given a chance to put their racing skills to the test on the go kart track, with the purpose of evoking the passion for racing and promoting Etios Motor Racing (EMR). It brought together the best racers from the corporate world and gave 1 lucky winner a chance to drive the EMR car at the Buddh International Circuit, Noida on the 26th of September.

The race was managed by Red Rooster Performance, the technical partners of Etios Motor Racing. Main sponsors for the event included MRF, Motul, and Denso.

Some of the Corporates in Delhi NCR included Essel Services, Exl Group and OP Jindal Group. Participants registered online and at the registration kiosk at their respective campuses. Post registration, participants were tested on their safety awareness through a Drive test followed by a racing Simulator test at the nearest Toyota dealership. The top 120 were invited to participate in the final Toyota Corporate Go Kart Challenge at the F9 track, Gurgaon on the 20th of September, 2015.

The shortlisted participants took part in an action-packed day of racing on the go kart track, cheered on by their friends and family. Participants were further shortlisted based on the fastest lap timing record after 4 laps. The semifinal was an intense 4 lap race against the clock where the 6 fastest corporate racers qualified for the finals. These racers then took part in an adrenaline-pumping 8 lap race for glory. The top 3 podium finishes were as follows:

  • Winner – Avi Keshervan from Bhawani Machinery
  • First Runner-up - Siddhart Singh from OP Jindal Group
  • Second Runner-up - Dheeraj Yadav from ZTE

Also a special prize was given to the Best Driver – Women Category. The winner from this round was Divya Sharma from OP Jindal Group.

Toyota Corporate Go kart Challenge Bangalore

The Toyota Corporate Go Kart Challenge commenced in Bangalore in July, 2015. This was the first of a three city promotion campaign where employees from targeted select corporates were given a chance to put their racing skills to the test on the go kart track, with the purpose of evoking the passion for racing and promoting Etios Motor Racing (EMR). It brought together the best racers from the corporate world and gave 1 lucky winner a chance to drive the EMR car at the Buddh International Circuit, Noida on the 26th of September.

Participating Corporates in Bangalore included I-gate, Siemens and Schneider Electric. Participants registered online and at the registration kiosk at their respective campuses. Post registration, participants were tested on their safety awareness through a Drive test followed by a racing Simulator test at the nearest Toyota dealership. The top 120 were invited to participate in the final Toyota Corporate Go Kart Challenge at E-zone, Marathahalli – Bangalore on the 16th of August, 2015.

The shortlisted participants took part in an action-packed day of racing on the go kart track, cheered on by their friends and family. Participants were further shortlisted based on the fastest lap timing record after 4 laps. The semifinal was an intense 4 lap race against the clock where the 6 fastest corporate racers qualified for the finals. These racers then took part in an adrenaline-pumping 8 lap race for glory. The top 3 podium finishes were as follows:

  • Winner – Chetan D from Siemens
  • First Runner-up - Anand Venkatramani from Siemens
  • Second Runner-up - Rohit Thomas from IGATE

Also a special prize was given to the Best Driver – Women Category. The winner from this round was Dech Ganapathy Kechamada from Siemens.
